I’ve officially gone crazy.
I signed up for both a full marathon and Tough Mudder later this year. Ran a 15k today and marathon training begins this week…WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!?

Tomorrow! 15k = 9.3 miles. Let’s do this!
My new training plan! Since I switched gyms, I’m taking advantage of all the awesome classes they have :) Yellow is cardio, pink is strength. I’m also trying to eat more animal protein, it’s been filling me up more and giving me more energy. I’m going to stick to this plan during the week and give myself a little more freedom to hike, bike or take other classes on the weekend. What does your fitness plan look like?
After a BodyPump class on Friday, 13 rounds of the Santa Monica stairs on Saturday and a surprise snowboarding trip from my boyfriend today…I am completely useless. I’ve been lying in bed since we got home 4 hours ago, unable to do anything except watch South Park. This is what life is all about.
If you live in LA, come out on Saturday morning and hang out with us! I’ll be there and would love to meet some fellow fitblrs! :) :) :)
Streeeeeeeeetch
I am suuuuper excited to announce that after working in consumer goods advertising for over 6 years, I’ve finally gotten to make a change to the fitness industry!

Wooo! Here are a couple pictures from my first trip to Florida (I got a running tour, from Miami to Key West!)
My legs were: 5.7 miles, 8.8 miles and 3.0 miles.

Relaxing in South Beach before the race

Prepping for my 8.8 miler…

…and she’s off!

During the run - so pretty! (the foliage, not my flared nostrils)

The 12 Pack Talking Smack! (Minus one - he’s recovering)

Coconuts in Key West after 200 miles - What more could a girl want?
This experience was truly life-changing. I don’t really know how to explain it, but somewhere between the blisters, GU, Gatorade, no sleep, bug bites and quad pain, I think we all had a moment where we realized just what we were doing. And it smacks you in the face. You are running across one of the most beautiful parts of the country. And your body is letting you.
Your legs let you, as torn up as they are.
Your mind lets you, as delirious as it is from lack of sleep.
And your soul is literally carrying you there.
If you have the option to do a Ragnar, no matter what city, please do. I promise you will not regret it!
